CEGA SolutionsCEGA believes that ideas – good ideas – properly vetted ideas – pave the way to great opportunities for non-profits. There is considerable power in vetting an idea or developing a solution to a problem through an informed, yet unbiased, team of listeners. The ‘think tank’ process utilizes a diverse team of seasoned leaders to brainstorm a specific idea or specific problem for a non-profit organization. We have extensive experience in conducting these sessions, and the results have been nothing short of outstanding. An idea properly vetted through the 'think tank' is a powerful tool for an executive director preparing for a presentation their board, stakeholders, and donors. CEGA Think Tank Session (90 minutes) - $199 The ‘think tank’ sessions are scheduled in 90-minute blocks – an AM Session (10:15 to 11:45 a.m. EST) and a PM Session (2:15 to 3:45 p.m. EST) and are conducted via teleconference – or the non-profit is welcome to attend in person at our offices. Preparation for the ‘think tank’ session requires a two-week notification/request and an outline of the idea or problem that the group will address. Follow-up discussion between a CEGA team member and the non-profit is included following the outcome of the ‘think tank’ session. CEGA DialoguesCEGA is committed to providing opportunities for non-profit executive directors and board members to share experiences and communicate real ideas through ongoing 'case study' opportunities. The Dialogue sessions target a specific subject of executive-level interest, are one-hour in length, and utilize a conference-call format. In an effort to increase the opportunities for dialogue, as well as keep the costsw to a minimum, CEGA provides two types of dialogue opportunities: CEGA Teleconferences (60 minutes) - $19 Examples of teleconference topics include: “How Can I Keep the Meeting Under Control?", "Oops, I'm Out of Compliance -- Now What?", "What Makes an Effective Executive Director?", and "Stakeholder Involvement." CEGA Webinars (90 minutes) - $49 Examples of webinar topics include: “Dealing with Difficult Board Members,” "Beating Your Competition for the Grant," and "Project Based Budgeting." CEGA PoliciesCompliance policies are our foundational products. Why should these policies be of interest to you? A simple Q&A will help explain: Question: What is a compliance policy and why does a non-profit need one? Answer: An excellent example is "Conflict of Interest” because the IRS now requires that every non-profit have such a policy in conjunction with its IRS determination of charitable status. Our CEGA Policies have been created to assist non-profits in their efforts to remain in compliance and to achieve the leading edge in regulatory excellence. CEGA has packaged its policies in two parts: CEGA Policies I -- Basic Requirements -- $49 The ‘required’ policies for non-profits comprise the CEGA Basics Package. These policies include: audit, fundraising, board member qualifications, mission/purpose, structure & bylaws, annual statement of affirmation, conflict of interest, sample agreement for independent contractor, transparency, compensation, and filing requirements. CEGA Policies II -- Advanced -- $49 The ‘advanced’ policies for non-profits take the organization beyond the basics and position it for excellence and competitive advantage. These policies include: fiscal agency services, diversity skills, board and officer tenure, committees, document retention, prohibited activities, and embezzlement and fraud.
