What is the CEGA Certification?

Certification is our primary focus. It is designed to provide non-profits with a ‘seal of approval’ that will signify compliance with all regulations and a competitive advantage in the areas of Governance, Ethics, and Accountability. Certification sets your organization apart in the minds of your stakeholders and your funding providers.

  • Certification is available to Executive Directors, Board Members, and Senior Staff Members.
  • We utilize on-line, self-paced, case-study-based education. All you need is an Internet connection and a web browser.
  • Receive customizable, up-to-date templates for all required and suggested policies and regulations.

What are the components of the CEGA Certification process?

We want our Certification process to be informative, interactive, and enjoyable – it is Internet-based for maximum reach at minimum cost – our curriculum includes three components:

  • The information you need to educate yourself about the issues of Governance, Ethics, and Accountability, and how to comply with all regulations.
  • The templates you need to customize your policy handbook for your organization, including Conflict of Interest, Compensation Policy, Board Qualifications, and more.
  • The opportunity to participate in a teleconference with a group of your peers and discuss non-profit policies.

How long does it take to get Certified?

The certification process is completely self-paced. There is no required timeframe for completion.

How much does it cost?

Certification is available at the affordable rate of $99 per person.

Does the Certification expire?

Once you receive Certification, it is valid for one year. After that, you can renew your Certification for $50 per year. You'll receive the latest regulation changes, the most up-to-date policy templates, and reminders on when and how to update your existing policies, allowing you to continue to surpass all requirements and regulations.
